Now more than ever, students need more than just a diploma. As globalization and automation continue to challenge job seekers, youth must develop 21st Century skills now to be successful in college, career, and life beyond academia.
Life Readiness - The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens
This course applies the timeless principles of the 7 Habits® to the tough issues and life-changing decisions that teens face regularly. This framework helps students improve self-image, build healthy friendships, achieve their Wildly Important Goals, and navigate challenges around social media, bullying, relationships, and changing family dynamics.
College Readiness - Take Charge
This course empowers students to survive and thrive in a new collegiate environment. Using principles from The 7 Habits® and The 5 Choices®, students will take charge of their emotional health, learn to use their time efficiently, build communication and productivity skills, manage finances, and shape their HigherEd experience, accelerating their transition into early adulthood.
Leadership Readiness - Inspire Others
In this course, students will use the principles behind The 4 Roles of Great Leaders and in The Speed of Trust™ to become leaders of self and others. Students will practice and apply strategies to build consensus,
create and empower functional teams, implement appropriate structures
and processes, and manage projects through to completion.
Career Readiness - Find Your Voice
This course will enable students to see their present worth and future potential. They will learn and apply practical skills for career and life success. These include interpersonal competencies in one-on-one interactions, as well as digital and workplace communication. Students will discover the mindset needed to engage and innovate in today’s dynamic global market.
